WHAT IT IS:

Marquessa Mauve Metallic over black vinyl with a white power top
66,000 miles
AMC 327 4bbl 10:1 compression 270hp on premium fuel
Borg Warner T-10 with narrow gate shifter in the console FROM THE FACTORY
Factory AC runs but not cold and probably needs restoration
HOW IT IS:
This is an amazing 10-foot car that shows it's survival condition with grace and dignity
Super rare silvery mauve color paint is in very good condition with a few exceptions
Interior has been cleaned but not restored with the exception of the glovebox, which is new.
Most lights and gauges work! The CLOCK WORKS but the blinker indicators do not
Car ran well with points ignition and does not run with Pertronix point-less ignition and i am working to fix that.
Tires, brakes, steering, suspension, all work and behave like they should in a 48 year old car.
OTHER STUFF:
You may not find another one optioned like this and that is no joke. These cars were marketed as Cadillac killers and usually were bought with auto trans, power windows/seats etc. Aside from the factory AC, this car appears to have been ordered by an enthusiast, casting off those wimpy creature comforts for all the elements that make a quick and fast fun-in-the-sun cruiser.
There are issues expected of an unrestored car of this vintage but nothing catastrophic and I always get nothing but the highest praise on the road and at shows. It seems everybody's Uncle had a Rambler back in the day and they love to look at this car and reminisce.
